What materials can you plate or metallize?
We provide finishing services on plastic, metal, and glass substrates. For plastics, we work with ABS, Polypropylene, PC/ABS, Ultem, Nylon, LCP, and other engineering grades—including difficult-to-metallize materials like PP and HDPE. For metals, we process brass, steel, zinc, white metal, and die-cast components. We also specialize in glass bottles and containers. Any finish achievable on metal can typically be replicated on plastic substrates using our advanced plating and metallizing systems.
What finishes do you offer?
We offer over 30 distinct finishes including precious metal plating (14K, 18K, 24K gold), silver, chrome, white bronze, hematite, electroless nickel, and antique finishes. Architectural finishes include antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, and brushed stainless. We also provide mirror, colored, and transparent vacuum metallized finishes, advanced PVD coatings (Titanium Nitride, Zirconium Nitride), and specialty treatments like our proprietary crackle finish for glass. UV topcoats enable custom tinting to gold, copper, rose gold, and specialty colors.
What industries do you serve?
We serve the cosmetic and personal care industries as an approved supplier for Estée Lauder, L'Oréal, Avon, and Elizabeth Arden. Additional markets include jewelry manufacturing, trophy and novelty, lamp and lighting, automotive, electronic, medical, plumbing, hardware, writing instruments, tableware, architectural finishing, and liquor and beverage packaging. Our high-volume capabilities and diverse finishing options make us versatile across decorative and functional applications requiring precision surface treatments.
How quickly can you complete a project?
We've built our reputation on fast turnaround, moving parts from sampling to full production in half the normal industry lead times. Our in-house custom tooling design and build capability significantly accelerates the process. Operating 24-5 with over 200,000 sq.ft. of working space, we can handle trailer loads of material daily and run over 20 different jobs simultaneously while maintaining consistent quality. Free sampling services are available for most customers and applications to expedite the evaluation process.
Do you offer sample finishing services?
Yes, we provide free sampling services for most customers and applications. Our separate custom tooling division enables amazingly responsive service during the sampling phase. We can quickly evaluate your parts, recommend appropriate finishing processes, and produce samples that demonstrate the final appearance and performance. This allows you to validate the finish before committing to full production, and our accelerated workflow means you can move from approved samples to high-volume manufacturing faster than industry standards.
What is your production capacity?
Our 200,000+ sq.ft. facility operates 24-5 with the capacity to process over a million parts per week while running more than 20 different jobs simultaneously. We can handle trailer loads of material every day, making us capable of supporting both small specialty runs and massive high-volume production orders. Our multiple plating lines, vacuum metallizing chambers, UV coating systems, and in-house tooling production ensure we maintain fast turnaround times even during peak production periods across diverse finishing requirements.
Are your finishes durable and compliant with regulations?
Absolutely. Our proprietary UV topcoats are super hard, chemically resistant, and designed to prevent scuffing and scratching during bulk packaging, assembly, and consumer use. They're fragrance-resistant for cosmetic applications and provide exceptional durability. We offer ROHS-compliant metallizing and our PVD coatings (Titanium Nitride, Zirconium Nitride) deliver superior wear resistance. For plastics, our plasma treatment and advanced adhesion techniques ensure flawless coating adhesion without weakening or embrittling parts, maintaining proper flex and springback for functional components.
Can you match finishes across different materials?
Yes, this is one of our key capabilities. Our electroplating systems can produce any finish on plastic that can be achieved on metal, which is critical for industries like electronics, medical devices, plumbing, and hardware where matching finishes on metal and plastic components is essential. We've developed the most consistent and flexible plating-on-plastic line in the industry, capable of producing over 30 different finishes with European quality standards. This enables seamless aesthetic integration across multi-material assemblies in your products.
